The HLTAID009 CPR course at our Collaroy training facility — complete the theory online, then a 45-minute hands-on practical with a registered paramedic. $59.00, sessions every week.
CPR certification is recommended for renewal every 12 months — guidelines change, and compression skills fade faster than any other first aid skill. Our CPR course on the Northern Beaches is built around that renewal cycle: the online component covers the theory at your own pace, and the face-to-face session at Collaroy is spent almost entirely on the manikins — compressions at the right depth and rate, full recoil, rescue breaths and defibrillator use.
The certificate is HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, nationally recognised and delivered on behalf of Allens Training Pty Ltd RTO 90909.
First aiders keeping the CPR component of their HLTAID011 current on the 12-month cycle.
Trainers, swim teachers, coaches and educators whose registration requires current CPR.
No prerequisites — anyone can book, and plenty do it purely to be ready at home.
Training for a workplace? Ask our team to contextualise the course to your setting — the scenarios, equipment and response priorities are shaped around where you'll actually be responding. We regularly train teams from gyms and fitness studios, aged care facilities, shopping centres, early learning centres, dive and aquatic operators, and trades and construction crews.
Online theory plus a 45-minute practical at Collaroy.
$59.00 HLTAID009Everything face to face in one session — nothing to complete beforehand.
UPGRADEIf your certificate covers more than CPR, the HLTAID011 first aid course is the one to renew.
Sessions run at Shop 6, 1000–1008 Pittwater Rd, Collaroy — minutes from Dee Why, Narrabeen and Mona Vale, with plenty of parking. Your trainer is a registered paramedic or emergency responder who performs resuscitation in real emergencies, and the small group format means real time on the manikin, not watching from a row of chairs. Rated 5.0 on Google. Workplaces can also book group CPR training on-site.
The blended format is a 45-minute face-to-face practical after you complete the online theory at home. The no-pre-learning option runs longer as a single face-to-face session with everything included.
Every 12 months is the recommended industry standard, and many workplaces, registrations and insurers require it. Resuscitation guidelines are also updated regularly, so annual renewal keeps your technique current as well as your certificate.
Yes — HLTAID009 is the CPR unit inside HLTAID011 Provide First Aid. Renewing it annually keeps your first aid qualification's CPR component current between the 3-yearly full renewals.
