First aid training on the Northern Beaches

Our training facility is at Shop 6, 1000–1008 Pittwater Rd, Collaroy — directly across from Upper Crust Pies, with plenty of parking. Most people get certified here in a single visit: complete the online learning at home, then attend a short face-to-face session for the hands-on assessment.

Every course is nationally recognised and delivered on behalf of Allens Training Pty Ltd RTO 90909, so your certificate is accepted by employers, childcare regulators and industry bodies Australia-wide.

Why train with VitalMed First Aid

Your trainers work in real emergency care. Courses are delivered by registered paramedics and frontline emergency responders, so the scenarios you practise reflect real emergency care. Groups stay small, the session is hands-on from start to finish, and questions beyond the syllabus are welcome. Rated 5.0 on Google.

Serving the whole Northern Beaches

Course participants come from across the peninsula — Narrabeen and Mona Vale to the north, Dee Why, Brookvale and Manly to the south, and Frenchs Forest and Belrose on the forest side. Collaroy sits in the middle of it, minutes off Pittwater Rd wherever you're coming from. For workplaces, we also deliver group training on-site across the Northern Beaches and wider Sydney for the right numbers.

Common questions

How long does a first aid course on the Northern Beaches take?

With the blended format, most of the theory is done online at your own pace before you attend. The face-to-face session at Collaroy then runs about 2 hours for HLTAID011 Provide First Aid, or 45 minutes for the HLTAID009 CPR refresher. A full-day HLTAID011 option with no pre-learning also runs regularly.

Is the certificate nationally recognised?

Yes — all courses are nationally recognised training delivered on behalf of Allens Training Pty Ltd RTO 90909. Your Statement of Attainment is valid Australia-wide.

How often do I need to renew?

Provide First Aid (HLTAID011) is generally renewed every 3 years, with the CPR component (HLTAID009) refreshed every 12 months — the recommended industry standard.
