Director & Head Trainer

Michael Kelly is the Director of VitalMed First Aid and brings over 10 years of experience in healthcare. He is a Registered Paramedic, an Enrolled Nurse, and served as an Underwater Medicine Clinician with the Australian Defence Force. Michael has responded to critical incidents across a diverse range of pre-hospital environments.

With a strong background in medical care and clinical training, Michael leads VitalMed First Aid with a focus on delivering high-quality, practical, and compliant first aid education.

Is VitalMed First Aid a registered training organisation?

We deliver nationally recognised courses in partnership with Allens Training Pty Ltd (RTO 90909). This means your qualification is formally recognised across Australia.

What areas do you service?

We're based in Collaroy on Sydney's Northern Beaches and deliver training across the Northern Beaches and greater Sydney, both at our facility and on-site at workplaces.

What makes VitalMed different from other first aid trainers?

Our training is delivered by practising paramedics, kept to small practical class sizes, and focused on real-world scenarios rather than rote learning — so you leave genuinely confident to act, not just certified.

What courses does VitalMed offer?

We offer a full range of nationally recognised courses including CPR (HLTAID009), Provide First Aid (HLTAID011), Childcare First Aid (HLTAID012), Advanced First Aid (HLTAID014), and Advanced Resuscitation (HLTAID015). We also deliver standalone Anaphylaxis Management (22556VIC) and Asthma Emergency Management (22578VIC) training, plus specialist Diver First Aid for RTOs.

Can I get a certificate for work or compliance requirements?

Yes. On successful completion you receive a nationally recognised statement of attainment, suitable for workplace, regulatory, and industry compliance requirements.
