Course Description

This nationally recognised course has been designed for professionals working with children to stay current with 2025 child protection legislation, regulations, reporting guidelines, and best-practice requirements, including updates coming into effect in January 2026. As mandatory reporters, we all share a responsibility to recognise indicators of abuse and neglect, protect children from future harm, including harm caused by other children, and take appropriate action. Participants will strengthen their understanding of legal and ethical obligations, duty of care, and effective reporting procedures through practical scenarios and case studies that reflect the complex realities of child protection work. CHCPRT025 Identify and report children and young people at risk equips you with the knowledge and confidence to fulfil your role in safeguarding children and young people. Certificates issued by Allens Training Pty Ltd RTO 90909.

This course is 100% online: 4-6 hours of self-paced learning.
