The CPR component of your first aid certificate is recommended for renewal every 12 months, in line with Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines. Many workplaces and registrations require annual currency.
The full Provide First Aid qualification is renewed every three years under the accepted industry recommendation. Renewing reissues the complete certificate, including the CPR unit.
Your Statement of Attainment shows the issue date. If it's coming up on 12 months since your last CPR or three years since your full course, you're due. Still unsure — ask us.

HLTAID009 and HLTAID011 include a practical assessment — CPR performed on a manikin on the floor — so every renewal includes a face-to-face session. The blended format keeps that session short: the theory is done online beforehand, and the in-person component is 45 minutes for CPR or 2 hours for first aid.
Sessions run every week at Shop 6, 1000–1008 Pittwater Rd, Collaroy, with plenty of street parking and dedicated parking in the building. Renewals are delivered by registered paramedics and emergency responders, in small groups with hands-on practice throughout, and certificates are issued through Allens Training Pty Ltd RTO 90909.
