11448NAT Course in Providing First Aid to a Compressed Gas Diving Casualty is taught concurrently alongside HLTAID015 Provide advanced resuscitation & oxygen therapy to maintain alignment with current industry standards.

Alternatively, for recreational divers or organisations that do not require HLTAID015 Provide Advanced Resuscitation and Oxygen Therapy, NAT11448001 Provide First Aid to a Compressed Gas Diving Casualty may be delivered as a standalone Statement of Attainment. There are no prerequisite requirements for entry into this unit.

We have developed a specialised diver first aid training course for the recreational and commercial diving industries.

Unlike generic first aid programs, this training has been purpose-built for diving environments and focuses on the recognition and first aid management of conditions such as Decompression Illness (DCI), Arterial Gas Embolism (AGE), pulmonary barotrauma, marine envenomation and other diving-related emergencies.
